On Wednesday 18th October there will be a welcome return visit by speaker Dr Tim Brain, whose previous talks for us on Police History and his uncle’s war memoirs were much enjoyed by members. This time Tim’s subject is Faith in Stone – Gloucestershire’s Historic Churches. Tim was Chief Constable of Gloucestershire from 2001-10, and has since been a prominent lecturer, broadcaster and author. He is chairman of Stroud Choral Society and the Friends of the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum.
Doors open at 7pm for browsing our Donated Books Shop and Library.
